This Saturday, I’m releasing a portion of a project I was working on for a lot of the latter half of last year. A 5 song EP has become the double-single Give Yourself Space/The Soup. I’m very proud of these songs, and while me, and producers Mario Borgatta and Steve Pagano did some great work on the others, I’m holding those back because I think they would benefit from some fresh perspective at a later date.

These songs I feel are the last ones of what I would call a pretty dark period in my songwriting, and they’re also the best, so I’m pumped to put an exclamation point on that period, and start a new one.

I’m just about finished laying the groundwork for a new album (currently called Superet Light ) which I am having a lot of fun working with and I can’t wait to share it with the world. I am not sure when that will be, but I would say to realistically expect the full release some time next year, with a single release coming as soon as late this year. I may be releasing early versions of a track or two on my SoundCloud soon.

So as someone who listens to a lot of podcasts I can recite the Squarespace ads by heart in the style of Marc Maron, Paul Scheer, or Howard Kramer, and I gave in. Got a website.

This'll be a place where I collect all my musical works, will have any merch I have up for sale, and maybe I'll dump a thought or two in here every now and then.

As for what's to come: I'll be dropping a fire single here in the next couple weeks, and I'm getting started on an EP that should be out this fall. There'll be a few other little things sprinkled in here and there, as well as some shows when the recording process is done for the new EP. All of that will be here.
